I feel like I’m constantly in the process of learning. The feeling of arrival never comes and although this doesn’t feel great in the first few years of learning a craft, I think this is something we shouldn’t mourn. I realise that sense of never-quite-arriving is absolutely essential in all things. Without it, you’d have no wish to grow, no ambition, no curiosity... you’d be in stasis in other words.

I do wonder if it’s how evolution shows up in us - evolution in the personal sense of the word, as opposed to the evolution of our species, but maybe they are one and the same thing. Anyway, whatever, it’s also good practice to not overload what you do with too much interpretation. Just. Keep. Going.
