New strand

I’ve set myself a project to draw small things I have to hand. This is the first of the set - a wooden fish from my hometown in Japan. (I’m both Japanese and English). It’s from the Karatsu Kunchi, a matsuri festival that happens every November. The real thing is a vast carnival float, but mine is only a few centimetres high.
